Nicklas is a senior finance executive with more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership, corporate reporting and structured finance. He has served in CFO and Country Manager roles across both international and listed companies, consistently focusing on financial governance, restructuring and organizational development. He also brings a strong background in treasury, accounting and operational finance.

As Interim CFO of Argo Group, Nicklas is responsible for financial planning, group reporting and internal controls. His role includes leading the development of the Group’s finance function, establishing efficient structures and routines and ensuring accurate and transparent communication with key stakeholders.

He brings extensive experience from his years as CFO at Frilans Finans, a listed company, where he led a comprehensive financial restructuring, strengthened board reporting processes and supported the company through a successful IPO. In addition, he spent over a decade at Deutsche Leasing, where he built and managed the Nordic operations, assuming full responsibility for financial performance, regulatory compliance and strategic development.

Experience

Fredrik brings over 30 years of experience in the defense sector, primarily through his long-standing career with the Swedish Armed Forces. His distinguished background includes service as a lieutenant colonel and doctoral studies at the Swedish Defence University. His expertise spans mine clearance, strategic consulting and leadership roles in both military and civilian contexts, including senior positions at the Swedish EOD and Demining Centre (SWEDEC). He has served as an advisor to multiple countries, including Ukraine and has worked in war-torn regions supporting security, reconstruction and stabilization efforts.

In his current role as CEO of Disarmament Solutions Ukraine, Fredrik leads the company’s operations in one of the world’s most complex and urgent environments. He also serves as Business Development Manager for the Group’s Ukraine initiative, driving the development of innovative capabilities and partnerships. His deep field experience, strategic insight and strong commitment to humanitarian and security-driven innovation are central to the Group’s mission and long-term presence in the region.

He possesses extensive expertise in project execution, leadership and strategic growth—particularly within security-related and technically complex projects.

In his current roles as CEO of Argo Defence Group and Disarmament Solutions, Markus oversees overall management, finance, business development and sales. He has previously held roles in site management as well as in machinery and method development within microtrenching. Over the years, Patrik has built strong expertise in airport maintenance, particularly in preventive measures designed to extend the lifespan of pavements, joints and concrete surfaces.
