Argo Defence Group is proud to announce that its subsidiary, Swedish Net Air & Defence AB, has been awarded a framework agreement with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) for compact passive protection and casting moulds for concrete blocks.

Within the framework, Swedish Net Air & Defence has been placed as the second-ranked supplier, ensuring readiness to step in and deliver should the primary supplier be unable to fulfil MSB’s needs. The agreement runs for two years with the option to extend up to four years, with a maximum value of SEK 120 million.

This award further reinforces Swedish Net Air & Defence’s position as a trusted partner in delivering robust and innovative solutions in support of Sweden’s civil defence.

Swedish Net Air & Defence, a subsidiary of Argo Defence Group, has been awarded a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of specialized ISO 668 freight containers, with a maximum contract value of SEK 340 million.

The containers will be tailored to meet specific requirements from FMV, including adapted construction and specialized painting. The agreement covers a range of container models, including different types of 1C and 1D containers. The framework agreement runs for two years with the option to extend up to a total of four years.

Deliveries will be made to the Swedish Armed Forces, with an estimated volume of up to 2,500 containers throughout the contract period. This award further strengthens Swedish Net Air & Defence’s position as a reliable supplier of robust and tailored solutions that support the Swedish Armed Forces and the country’s total defence capability.

Swedish Net Air & Defence, one of the subsidiaries within Argo Defence Group, is strengthening its offering for military and civilian airports through entering into an agreement regarding the acquisition of LPG Trafikmarkeringar.

LPG Trafikmarkeringar brings extensive expertise in airfield maintenance , with long-standing experience in repair, reinforcement, surface painting, and casting . By ensuring durable surfaces and clear markings, the company contributes to maintaining safe and efficient airport operations.

The acquisition enables Swedish Net Air & Defence to deliver a broader and more integrated service portfolio within airfield operations – ranging from advanced installations to ongoing maintenance of runways, taxiways, and aprons . Together, the companies strengthen their position as a strategic full-service provider for the needs of both military and civilian airports.

The completion of the acquisitions of LPG Trafikmarkeringar is subject to customary conditions as well as approval from the Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP) pursuant to the Act (2023:560) on the Review of Foreign Direct Investments. Completion is expected to take place no later than November 2025.

To further enhance its offering for airport airside operations, Swedish Net Air & Defence, one of the subsidiaries within Argo Defence Group, has entered into an agreement regarding the acquisition of Zel-Aaren Innovation.

The company is renowned for its proprietary products for casting and jointing, featuring unique properties such as extremely short curing times and high durability. These solutions are specifically designed to minimize operational downtime and enable rapid interventions in the event of air traffic disruptions.

Combined with Swedish Net Air & Defence’s extensive experience in runway lighting, electrical installations, and instrument landing systems at both military and civilian airports, the acquisition establishes a comprehensive provider for projects on runways, taxiways, and apron areas.

The completion of the acquisitions of Zel-Aaren Innovation is subject to customary conditions as well as approval from the Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP) pursuant to the Act (2023:560) on the Review of Foreign Direct Investments. Completion is expected to take place no later than November 2025.
